Bobbie was born December 14, 1938 in Batesville, Arkansas the daughter of Acie Rubin and Viola Ellen (Allen) Cox. She grew up in Arkansas before moving to Kansas, where she graduated high school in De Soto, and later settled in Lawrence.
Bobbie was an office manager for over twenty years for a local tax accountant. Bobbie was a devoted member of Cornerstone Community Church and truly loved the Lord. After her retirement, she found joy in volunteering, traveling, playing golf, spending time with family and friends, and good food (especially desserts). Bobbie was quick to laugh and never missed the opportunity for a witty remark, even as her health declined. She was a bright light to all those who knew her and will be deeply missed.

She is also survived by treasured grandchildren, cherished great-grandchildren, beloved nephews and nieces, and many dear friends. She gave her love freely and we were all blessed to have known her.
