Beth Ann Woody

Graveside services for Beth Ann Woody, 55, Lawrence will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence, KS. She died May 20, 2017 at Hickory Pointe in Oskaloosa, Kansas.

She was born on June 3, 1961 in Lawrence, Kansas the daughter of Hobart O. Woody, Sr. and Minnie Jane (Hughes) Woody.

Survivors include two brothers, Hobart O. Woody, Jr. of California and Gordon E. Woody and a nephew, Brandon L. Woody. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be made in her name to St. Luke’s AME Church and may be sent in care of the Warren-McElwain Mortuary.

    What a sad day it is at Cottonwood as we grieve for Beth Ann. All day long we have shared sweet memories for this truly beloved individual. We loved and cared for her for literally decades and know she had a full life filled with work, fun, family, and many friends. We are sorry for the family’s loss of this sweet, funny, indomitable spirit.
