Thank you for serving in the role of grandpa, after my grandpa died. I learned so much from you. I will forever be grateful knowing you.

Grandpa Alvin, You may not have been my blood grandpa but you stepped up and took on that role when my grandpa died. You taught me so much. You gave me my first ride in the combine. I was tall enough to see over the wheel so I would set on your lap. That was so much fun. Then we would fill the water truck. The memories I have of you are precious. I remember you would let me drive your truck. That was scary for you I am sure.

I am such a better person because you taught me alot. Above all you taught me to work hard, love my family, and be a good girl. I will always love you Papa Alvin. Your family is more than our friends, you are our family. My grandma loved each and everyone of your grandchildren as her own.

I love you and grandma Shirley so very much. Not a day will go by that I do think of each of you. If you should ever need anything Grandma just let me know.

I feel honored to know you both.
