Marcia was one of the first people I met when I started working at Anderson County, and what a great attitude she had. She helped me through a difficult situation, always providing quiet support. She didn’t have a bad thing to say about anyone and kept a positive attitude no matter what type of work she was asked to do. I know that Marcia is at peace now.

I am so glad Marcia was able to make it to our family reunion this past September. I so enjoyed our visits each year, her stories were always so interesting and witty. She will be sorely missed by a very large family who loved her so much. God be with you and our family in this time of loss.

    Andrew, Kristi, Brooklyn, and Sammy,
My heart goes out to you for your loss. “Grandma” Marcia was a wonderful woman. She was always supportive and always willing to help whenever she was needed. She LOVED her grandchildren – noone could deny that! I will miss her kind, loving spirit. You will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Marcia was a wonderful lady, she inspired many ladies by walking and proudly finishing a 5K with the Women In Training group. My favorite memory with her was during a laughter yoga session last summer when she said ” it might hurt but I will always laugh”. We will miss her!

The thought of yet another cousin leaving our family way too soon just makes my heart ache. Marcia was always so much fun and made me laugh almost every time she spoke to me. Even as she endured this terror called cancer that has run so harshly thoughout our family she would tell me jokes… cancer jokes no less!! What a trooper!!
One of the biggest laughs she, Judy, Connie and I all share when we see or talk to one another is when we had that picture taken of us at Aunt Maxie’s house and the fact that years later when I’d look at that picture I could not tell who was who! It made us all laugh that we looked so much alike… just cousins, I guess!
I will miss Marcia even more now as always before I could look forward to seeing her at the next Family Reunion along with Marion Lee and a host of others! However, I find peace in knowing that one day we will all join that great Family Reunion Marcia is enjoying now! Hugs and Kisses for my Mamma, Marcia! I love you! I love you all!

I enjoyed getting to know Marcia at our women in training group. She was always so warm and positive. Last year when we had laughter yoga, we all lay on our back on the ballfield. She started picking out pictures in the clouds. Such a neat lady, we are going to miss her.
