Jimmie was born on April 29, 1938, in Jackson County Missouri, the son of Napoleon Bauguard Dickerson and Margaret Marie (Hawks) Dickerson.
Survivors include his children, Donald Eugene Dickerson (children, Renee, Derek, Emily, Jonathan), Dr. Daniel Sean Dickerson, wife Dr. Jill Dickerson (children, Madeline, Camille), Ret. Lt. Col. Dennis Patrick Dickerson (children, Austin, Alyssa, Colin), Darrin James Dickerson, wife Stacy Dickerson (children, Courtney, Brandon), and eleven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Louis Lee Dickerson, and his sister, Ima Gene Sheridan.
