LaVaughn (Williams) Kastl Peak

LaVaughn (Williams) Kastl Peak 3/5/30 – 9/11/24

LaVaughn was born in Fulton, KS, where she attended Fulton High School and then moved to Fort Scott, KS where she met her future husband Calvin Kastl. They were married on March 15, 1947.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Peggy Kastl and her son Curtis Kastl.  She is survived by her children Beverly Gossage, Marilyn Pearse and Howard (Kim) Kastl, 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Calvin and LaVaughn started Kastl Plumbing in 1971 and it continues to this day.  Calvin passed away on May 18, 1983. LaVaughn remarried on April 13, 1986 to William (Bill) Peak of Pittsburg, KS, who preceded her in death. 

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Lawrence Salvation Army and sent to Warren-McElwain Mortuary.                                                                     

Visitation will be at 10:00 A.M. and Funeral services at 11:00 A.M. this Saturday, at Warren-McElwain 120 W. 13th,  Lawrence, KS.
