Jennifer Ann Dailey of Lawrence, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, July 27th, 2024. Born at RAF Lakenheath Air Base, England, on September 5th, 1977, to Matt and Linda Dailey, Jennifer was destined to be a world-traveler. After living in England and Germany for several years, she moved with her parents and older brother Jason to the United States.
Jennifer was a gifted vocalist, graduating from DuPont Manual High School’s Youth Performing Arts program in 1995 in Louisville, Kentucky. She subsequently received a scholarship to Western Kentucky University where she furthered her vocal studies and training. She was a well-loved member of the Christ Church United Methodist Chancel Choir in Louisville.
Jennifer worked as a pharmacy technician for Walgreens, and in her leisure time enjoyed music, writing, reading, the SIMS, Taylor Swift, and Chiefs football! She doted on her two nieces, Mina and Shea Dailey, and as a co-writer on the next great American novel with her sister-in-law Wende.
Jennifer will always be lovingly remembered for her huge heart and being a champion for the underdog and animals. She was proudly supportive and inclusive of everyone, and was also known by her family for being talented, kind, whip-smart, quick-witted, and loving. As a granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, sister-in-law, aunt, and cherished daughter, she was pure joy and the “go-to” person for a sympathetic ear, encouragement, and a guaranteed smile.
Jennifer is survived by her parents, brother Jason (Wende) Dailey, and nieces Mina and Shea.
Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 pm, Saturday, August 10th, 2024, at Warren McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence, Kansas, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm at the same location. Family would like to keep the attire casual.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Music Ministry, Plymouth Congregational Church, 925 Vermont St., Lawrence, Kansas, 66044 or may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.

Matt and Linda: I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. You are both in my thoughts.
Oh Jennifer I had no idea. I loved your smile, your fun personality. We both found we loved the same game. It was an honor at one time to take care of you. Rest in piece my friend.

Matt and Linda,
I was so very sorry to hear of the loss of your beautiful daughter Jennifer. It sounds as if she had a beautiful soul and was loved. I lost my sister when she was 46, to the disease of lupus, and she is missed. May you find solace and peace somewhere down the road. Thinking of you, Julie Jasperson
