A Celebration of Life for Evelyn Ruth LaFountain, 85, of Perry, will be from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the Lecompton Community Building. She passed away on May 27, 2024, at LMH Health.
Eveyln was born January 16, 1939, in Taney Co., Missouri the daughter of Darrel and Alma (Carsten) Crumbliss.
Evelyn worked for the Agricultural Department for 33 years. She was active in The VFW in Lenexa and American Legion in Overland Park. She was always ready to raise a hand and help whenever needed. Her most important job was a homemaker and raising her three children and making sure their needs were met.
Evelyn is survived by her children Tom (Lisa) LaFountain, Debbie (Tim) Prayson, Brian LaFountain, grandchildren, Nathan D. Donahoe, Mattie LaFountain, Olivia LaFountain, Nellie LaFountain, Lori LaFountain, and Logan LaFountain; great-grandchildren, Makenzie and Alec Donahoe; numerous siblings.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick LaFountain, and grandson, Joshua T. Donahoe.

So sorry to hear about Evelyn she was a coworker at the Thriftway here in Perry! I thought very highly of her and we worked well together! Going to miss her and her beautiful flowers she enjoyed so much!
