I’m very thankful that Marlene (the 1st cousin of my father, Junius Penny) and I became close friends these last few years because of our common faith in Jesus Christ’s work on the cross to personally purchase our forgiveness from sin and eternal life. We often shared truths from Scripture that defied life’s troubles and, through the indwelling Holy Spirit, brought clarity, peace, hope, and comfort. May each of you (Ann, Steve, Joanie, Pete, Nancy & grandchildren) she loved and who brought her joy & peace especially in these last months, find comfort that she’s in heaven with her Lord and that each who calls on His name will see her there some day.
