So sad for all. Nancy was my bowling buddy back in the day. We weren’t very good but we had fun. Peace to all. Kathleen Brown
Nancy was a classmate of mine. I got to know her more when we started planning our reunions. Nancy helped so much with our events. I’m so sorry to hear about her passing. My sympathies to her family. She will be missed by so many in our class of 1962.
Nancy and I worked together for MANY years at the KU Libraries. She was SOOO much fun and such a sweet…such a nice…person. We’d run in to each other downtown at times after we’d retired and what would start as just a quick catch-me-up would turn into going someplace and spending HOURS together eating, drinking, and having a blast 🙂
(A fun fact: Nancy grew up in the house that my husband and I bought and still live in! But when she lived in it as a child, it was at the southwest corner of Michigan and 6th Street…then it got moved to the 400 block of Michigan, where *we* bought it. We shared lots of stories about that old house and the cool things that have happened in it.)
Like so VERY many other people, I love you, Nancy. Always have and always will.
I very much enjoyed working for / with Nancy at Watson Library. My sincere condolences to her family.
I have fond memories of Nancy, LHS Class of 1962. My condolences to Nancy’s family. She was a wonderful classmate.
