  3. John Dobbins on October 6, 2023 at 8:20 am

I will miss seeing Jimmy around town and reminding him of the days he would pay me a penny a bale to help him put up hay on the farm. The Shultz family was always close to our family and I enjoyed them all. My best to all of them.

  4. Casey Carlsten on October 6, 2023 at 9:39 am

I can’t find the words to express how saddened I am after hearing of Jimmy’s passing. I will miss his fabulous bear hugs, simple chats at the store and all the calls we shared simply to check in on each other or to share a bad joke. I find comfort in knowing his legacy of kindness, love and laughter will continue to inspire us all. The ornery stories from younger years Jimmy and my Dad/Mom shared will be forever treasured. Please know that we (The Tuckel Family) are here for all of you during this difficult time. Our family will keep the Shultz family in our thoughts and prayers.
Much Love- Roger Tuckel & Family

What a great guy Jimmy was, Mary. I love how he planned surprise birthday parties for you! And that he would ask me if I knew anything special you might want for Christmas. He loved you so much. I will always picture him smiling and with a twinkle in his eye.

    Mary
Jimmy was that kind of guy that you didn’t have to know him all your life to know he was one of the good guys. The times we were together were all too short. Please know that we are thinking of you and your family and remembering the good times we had together.

  22. Larry and Ruthie Hatfield on October 13, 2023 at 1:20 pm

Mary I’m so sorry. Words cannot convey the loss you must feel. Although we hadn’t had much time together in the last few years we always considered Jimmy and Mary Shultz to be good friends. We’re thinking of you. Sorry we didn’t make Wednesday or today to see you in person but with Larry’s Parkinson’s, its really hard to get around. I know everyone says it and I do mean it – please let me know if I can do anything. Thoughts and prayers for you.

  23. Cynthia Sullivan on October 13, 2023 at 3:32 pm

Mary and family, my sincere sympathy in the loss if Jimmie. I hadn’t seen him in a while but the last time I did, he had that famous smile and lit up the room.

We were high school classmates graduating in the class of 1964. He was such a kidder back then and still was the last time I saw him.

Prayers to you and may wonderful memories sustain you in the days ahead.
    Cynthia Hill Peters Sullivan
