Graveside services for Donna D. Wilson, 67, Lawrence, will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Eudora Cemetery in Eudora, KS. A visitation will be held 10:00 am -12:00 pm, Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary – Eudora Chapel. Donna passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at her home.
Donna was born on August 10, 1955, in Lawrence, KS, the daughter of Elisha and Fernita Wilson.
Ms. Wilson worked at Berry Plastics for almost 30 years. She enjoyed puzzle books and country music.
Survivors include her son Charles Wilson and wife Claudia of Lawrence, KS, brothers, Loyal Arms of New Mexico, Ralph Kemper, Greg Wilson of Ohio, sister Cheryl of Kentucky, sister, Kathy Albers, MO, niece, Becca Smith of Olathe, KS, grandchildren, Isaac Wilson (13), Oscar Wilson (11), Eloisa Wilson (7) of Lawrence, KS, Donna’s in-laws, Bernardo Torres, Elvira Torres, Victor Torres, and Emily Torres.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Lynnita Leann Smith.
Memorial contributions may be made in Donna’s name to the American Lung Association and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
Donna was a beautiful sister to me and I will miss her so much. I remember a story that our mother told me. Donna walked among the cornfields and had a kitten with her. Cornstocks were high. Mom followed the sounds of the kitty so she could find Donna.
Donna was such sweet person, very kind and gentle! She always had a smile and something kind or funny to say! I will
miss her very much.

We enjoyed each other’s company and she will be dearly missed.
