You will be missed by many, Yard Boss, especially by my sister, nieces, your sisters, and extended family. You were always the entertainment and quick wit. The boys remember Uncle David buying them chickens and being the best Easter Bunny. Love you and prayers for Lala, Madison, Hannah, Tammie, and Sandie.
Shared some memorable times with you my man-gonna miss you for sure
Tammie, Sorry for your loss. I just remember David when he was a little boy and you lived across from the Jones. He was sweet.
Laura I am so sorry for your loss. Wending you prayers and hugs from NC
You will be missed by many. Our family was blessed with many great memories including when you brought home the baby chicks for the boys and how you always loved to be the Easter bunny. Your stories about high school and college sports will never be forgotten nor will your wit and amazing trivia knowledge about anything and everything. Prayers to Laura, Hannah, Madison, Tammie, Sandie, and all of the family and friends that knew you. We love you and miss you, David.
One of Lawrence’s best athletes. He will be missed and I’m so sorry for your loss. RIP.
So sorry to hear about David’s passing. David and I grew up together starting at Deerfield Elementary, West Jr. High, and graduating from LHS in 1986. Summers we both took Jr. Golf Lessons and swam at Lawrence Country Club. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.
Condolences from the Steiner Family. You will be missed by all of us.
David would see me in the LHS hallway or around town and KU campus, and always say “what’s up Kool?”.. that’s because he could never pronounce my last name! I would always respond with “What’s up Vinn Dawg”. We always caught up for beers when I was back in town. Our condolences from our family to yours. May the peace of Christ fill your hearts in this time of loss… Colossians 3:15
Always a nice boy, he will be missed. Rest in peace, David.

Great guy and will be truly missed. This is to soon!
Hi Laura, this is Donna Kilburn.I worked with you kids back at Columbia Savings.
I loved working with David, he was so funny. I was so happy when I heard you guys got together.I just can’t believe that he passed so early in his life. I also lost a daughter two years ago that was David’s same age. I know you are going through a very difficult time but family is the only way to get through it. I wish the best to you and I hope see you around Lawrence sometime..
My Condolences, Prayers to the Family, David was a Good Dude, He will be Missed, Rest In Heaven
So sorry to hear about David, a good soul gone to soon.
He was the best and one of a kind. He is honestly one of the funniest guys I knew. From his first day being my roomy at the DU House to all the great times we had those years. We always stayed in touch with senseless texting banter that would bring tears to your eyes. Vinny, you will be missed dearly. My prayers go to Laura and the girls.
Prayers to Laura and the girls! I loved Vinny and he always made me laugh. I loved seeing him at the DU house, LCC, our neighborhood happy hours or up at a KU football game. Happy memories with this hilarious guy who also moonlighted as our dentist for my kids…many teeth pulled by Vinny 😬.
I was so sorry to hear about David. He was such a nice young man. My condolences go out to Laura, the girls, Sandy and Tammi.
