Josephine was my mother in law or I should say “Mom” for the last 47 years. I always admired her inner strength and her love she gave to others.
Mom I love you, and part of my heart and soul will always be with you.

To the Ramirez Families, I came to know Jo when my daughter, Jennifer, and Mark started their family. I was in awe of her calmness and willingness to help all of her family when they needed her. She was always thinking of others. Now she is with her Lord in Heaven where she will watch over her family from Above. Praying for all of you as you grieve the death of your mother and grandmother. With love in my heart for you all, Diane Martin

Miss Jo, as I called her, was a wonderful friend and neighbor. Jo was the type of person who was a friend for life once you really connected. I will miss our talks and time together playing games in the community room and visiting on our neighbors porches. We shared interests in our families and our community. I always wished I had her energy! Her volunteer work was endless but she still made time for friends. I know how much she loved her family and how much you will all miss her. I will miss her too. Don’t let your sadness linger. Remember her smile and grace. We will all see her again in heaven. Until then, rest in peace my friend. I am thankful to our Lord that all of your pain has ended.
Jo Ramirez was a treasure. She was a longtime volunteer at the Senior Resource Center for the SHICK-Medicare program. She gave her time selflessly and was much-loved by those of us who were lucky enough to have worked with her. Jo always had a twinkle in her eye, an open and welcoming smile on her beautiful face, and love in her heart. I will personally miss her hugs and her bright, cheerful presence. All of us who knew Jo will miss her greatly.
Jo will always be one of the most unforgettable people that I have ever known. Whenever she was present, you could just feel her peace and joy. She loved her children and often spoke about them. There was always spoke about them. She was also proud of her grandchildren. She was loving. toward her fellow man and loyal to God. Heaven has gained an angel and everyone, who knew her has lost an angel on earth. She will never be forgotten.
Jo was always a joy to be around. Her smile was infectious and she was willing to help those around her. I loved working with her at the tax site! May her legacy be carried on. My condolences to her family.
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Jo for several years at the tax site. She was always friendly and had a beautiful smile for everyone she met. Jo was also a friend of my mother’s, Aileen Else, who passed away in 2015. Please accept my condolences.
Jo was such a dedicated volunteer for AARP Tax-Aide. This would have been Jo’s 15th year of volunteering. She always had a smile for everyone. She will be missed by her fellow volunteers and by the community members we served.
Our deepest sympathy for the family in the los of your mother! She was a true advocate for the church. May you find peace knowing she is with the Lord. Your in our thoughts and prayers 🙏
So sorry to lose Jo. I knew her through AARP Tax-Aide, and she was a real pleasure to see as she helped many folks with free tax prep.
Such a pleasant demeanor and smile for everyone. My deep sympathies to all the family.
