    Laurie, Tim and Sara
I am so sorry to here of Jim’s passing. He always took care of me and St John lunch program. He saved me many times and I always enjoyed our time together. It never felt like a sales pitch but a friend helping make our program better. We will be in Texas and will miss the funeral. You will be in my prayers that God brings you peace.

    Dear Laurie, Sara and Tim,

I was surprised and saddened to see Jim’s obituary in the Journal World. What a nice and talented individual the world has lost! You could always expect to have fun when Jim was present and some of my fondest memories include seeing and talking with him whenever he picked Sara up from LaPetite, and when I placed the monthly food order. And, of course, Steve and I (and our friends) loved watching him perform at the Catholic Charities fundraising event in KC.

I will not be able to attend the visitation or memorial service, but please know my thoughts and prayers are with you. My condolences to other members of Jim’s family too.

Remember Jim when Suzy and I used to play as kids and he was such a jokester. His parents were good friends of my parents and there was always lots of laughter. My condolences to the family and I wish I would have known him as an adult.
