Mark James Jones, Sr.

Graveside Service  for Mark James Jones, Sr, 70, Lawrence, Kansas, will be held at 11:00 a.m. (CST), Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Oak Hill Cemetery (Green Burial Section). followed by a 12:30 (CST)  Memorial Service.

Mark was born on June 22, 1952, in Lancaster, Ohio, the son of James and Carol Jones.  

Mark passed away at his residence in Lawrence, Kansas, on Saturday, November 12, 2022. 

Mark married June Crawford on June 30, 1973, in Los Angeles, CA.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Sheila Jones.

Survivors include his wife, June; children, Mark Jones, Jr, and Amanda Jones, and siblings, Vickie Glenn, Ricardo (Remy) Jones, and a host of extended family.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers in Mark’s name to SGI USA or to the  Wallace L Jones Endowment Fund which may be sent in the care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
