Jim and family,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
Jody was one of a kind. I had the privilege of working with her at our local health department where she was our nurse practitioner. She always demonstrated kindness, compassion and would lend an ear to all. Her ability to tell stories and make us laugh was a welcomed distraction from the stresses of work.
Take comfort in who she was as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and provider. The example she set is one that all should strive for. She was the best!
Now is the presence of our Savior, she is finally at peace. You are all in my prayers.

I met Jody through the Daughters of Isabella. I loved her sense if humor. She was instrumental in having our group wrap Christmas presents for the children sponsored by the local police dept. May you rest in peace, Jody
What a wonderful lady. My thoughts & prayers to the family.
Jody Woods was a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a mother-in-law and her family always came first. But she embraced so many others that she made feel like her family too. As a nurse, she was a healer and her professional skills helped so many people get well. Jim and I share a grandson, Wyatt Woods, with Jim and Jody. We have had wonderful experiences for the past 28 years with Jim and Jody because of Wyatt. Jody was a true friend to her daughter-in-law, our daughter Anne. We extend our respect and sympathy to Jim, Doug, Tim, Dwayne, and all of the Woods grandchildren.
So sorry to get this news,,,,,she was as a human should be and then some. I am so grateful and so appreciative of the memories I have of her and Jim. It was always such a pleasure for me to cross their path………deepest sympathy to the family.
I was so sorry to hear of Jody’s passing. She was a nurse at Watkins Hospital when I worked there. She was an amazing woman, awesome nurse & ornery friend. She was the one who told me I was expecting my first child. She pulled a prank on me to tell me the news that I’ll never forget. Every time I think of it, I see her beautiful smile and hear her infectious laugh! Thank you for sharing the slide show on the page, as it was bittersweet seeing all of the pictures of her & the family. I know how very much her family meant to her! My thoughts and prayers are with you all!
Jody was my nurse at Dr. Hird’s. She was always full of joy and always made people feel special! I often saw her at Dillon’s and enjoyed talking with her. God bless her family and know that a lot of people cared about her!
