It was a privilege to know her and to hear her share her experiences . . . and opinions! She was markedly generous with her cooking and gardening skills, attested to by the abundance of surprise lilies she shared with us. May God bless our memories of this remarkable woman! Our condolences to all her friends and family.

I remember Mrs. Brecheisen as our 4-H leader. She was a woman that got things done! Our big project at the time was the Eudora Library. While it may seem small by today’s standards, it was a huge accomplishment at the time and wouldn’t have happened at all had it not been for Mrs. Brecheisen. My condolences to the family.

We have great memories of Antoinette and her family from our years at St Paul’s church in the early 70s. What a worker bee and so much energy! She taught me a lot of sewing tips that I still use plus good gardening advice. She epitomized the saying that if you want something done, and done well, ask a busy woman. Our thoughts are with Mark and Nancy and their families in this loss.

We had great conversations about the early years of the Eudora Library, as I transported her through senior wheels to and from appointments. Such a thoughtful and hard working woman. My thoughts are with the entire family during this time.

I am a distant cousin of Antoinette. My mother .Amanda Binder, was a first cousin to Amalie Plambeck, and I remember my mother talking about her and your mother. After she passed away I continued the connection with phone calls and letters. I was delighted to meet her in person on one of our trips through Kansas and was amazed what a wonderful and interesting person she was. I want to express my sympathy to all your family, and to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I will miss our long phone calls, exchange of information on the Haas family geneology . She was a very special person. My love, Ruth Duckworth Mt Vernon, IN.
