Donna, I remember very fondly your Mother and her friends. They would show up on Thursday nights at the American Legion to listen to the Junkyard Jazz band. She was truly a beautiful person and my heart goes out to you and your family at this sad time.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother was the nicest person to my mother and myself. It was wonderful to see the pictures from the time we all went to the National convention in Hawaii. Your mother’s birthday and mine were the same day and we would wish each other Happy Birthday. Again, I am sorry for your loss.

As a driver for Lawrence Transit services, I had the privilege of providing Lenora transportation every Thursday to her evening events at the American Legion. Always a pleasant greeting and informative updates sharing contemporary events and activities were central to the trip itself.
I too had the creative opportunity to work with her daughter, Trudy, for many years at Maupintour.
My sincere condolences to Trudy and her family as well as all members of Lenora’s extended family.
