Terry Eugene Fewel

There are no services scheduled at this time for Terry E. Fewel, 73, Lawrence, KS. He passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at LMH Health.

Terry was born on February 8, 1947 in Lawrence, KS the son of Eugene and Helen (Phifer) Fewel.

Terry retired from the Maintenance Department for Douglas County.

Survivors include his children, Timothy Fewel, Thomas (Chasity) Fewel, Tara (Jay) Grisafe, sister, Jan (Tom) Pollard, grandchildren, Eric Fewel, Taylor Fewel, Mason Fewel, Sami Fewel, Abigail Grisafe, Anthony Grisafe, Makayla Murray, Christopher Little, Kallie Little, David Grisafe, Amber Hildebrand, and one great-grandchild, Hope Murray.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents.

The family suggests memorials in his name to the Lawrence Humane Society that may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.

    I am so sorry to hear of Terry’s passing. He used to terrorize me (tease) when we walked to elementary school; he was ornery for sure but had a huge heart.

    I worked with him at Maupintour and he brought much joy to his supervisor, Grace, and other staff members. He will truly be missed and my sincere condolences go out to his family.
