We were so saddened to learn of Barb’s passing. She and Murf were some of our first friends when we came to Connect Church and warmly welcomed us into their small group. She always listened to you and always had a smile and hug and loved you with her prayers. We will miss the this “California girl” but are looking forward to seeing her again.

I was so sorry to hear about Barb’s passing. I left Lawrence five years ago, yet I still considered her as a good friend. She and Murph opened their home and hearts to me and many in the church and community and will be sorely missed. They were what church family is all about as they had the Fruit of the Spirit in abundance!
My deepest condolence to a good friend and church family member. Barb and her husband, Murph always greeted me with a handshake and a pat on the back, and wishes me well. Barb willingness to pray in group was uplifting and refreshing.as to Murph. Barb are going to be miss by many.
Barbara was a gentle soul filled with kindness, joy and love. She had an infectious smile and laugh and I feel so lucky that I got to know her. My sincerest condolences to her family and friends. I will always remember that twinkle in her eyes and the fabulous cookies she baked. Rest in peace sweet girl.
Barb & Harvey were wonderful neighbors of ours for many years. Together they were an amazing example of what a loving marriage is. Barb was a light that shined bright & the two of them will always be remembered in our hearts.
We were so shocked and saddened to learn of your darling mother’s passing. For over 35 years your parents were so much more than neighbors—we were family. It will take a long time to realize they are not physically with us. Know how we will always love them and the good times that we shared.
To Kathy,Pam, and all of Barb and Murphs family. I met your mom and Dad ten years ago, and soon learned what Sweet and Special people they were! Please know we love you all,and our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you ! Jim and Betty Chapin.
