A wonderfully inspiring lady who mentored women through her prayer life and her ability to interact with any and all with whom she came into contact. She was a wonderful spiritual prayer partner, a classy dame who represented we of the “older” generation well. She will be greatly missed.

    Dear Angie & Family,

So sorry to hear of your Grandmother’s passing. I remember her as a very lovely person with a generous heart. May your beautiful memories ease your pain.

I wish I could find the best words to express the impact that Carol had on my life. I was in third grade when she invited me to sing in the junior choir. I wanted to be like her. I thought she sang like an angel and I simply adored her. She was kind, thoughtful and fun. I learned about scripture and sang songs with her in the bean fields. I learned what it meant to have a relationship with God that is personal and unique to each person. I learned that God had a plan for my life and she encouraged me to keep pursuing my music. There were times in my early years that I wanted to give up but she helped me to keep moving forward.

I remember when she moved to Kansas, laughing on the phone with her. I had reminded her how hard we worked to pull sunflowers out of the fields in Iowa. We laughed about how she had surrendered by moving to the “sunflower state”. I will never forget her laugh and her smile.

She was a friend and mentor and I still want to be like her when I grow up.

God be with you all as you remember her and grieve this loss.

    Sincerely,

    Amy Price-Potts

Marsha, Bill, Angie, Andy and Family,
We were so very sorry to read about the passing of Marsha’s Mom. We will be lifting up your family in our prayers for God to bring you comfort and peace during this sad and difficult time in your lives. You were so very lucky to have her in your life for so long. My mom has been gone for 30 years now. Hang onto your special memories you have of her and that will keep you comforted. You know that she is in Heaven with your Dad and the rest of the relatives that went before her. Love to all.

Carol was an amazing God-fearing, Spirit-filled woman. I treasure the time I was able to be around her in Lawrence, KS and at the Mustard Seed Christian Fellowship. She blessed everyone around her through her smile, her infectious laugh, her ability to encourage, her spiritual insight, and her amazing voice. Although she will be missed, I, and many others, look forward to spending eternity together. May God bless Paul and Barb and their family and extended family with wisdom, courage, and peace.
