Dear Larry and Gabe,
I had such a nice visit with Laurie last June. Every time I have had that opportunity over the years, I have thought, “I wish we lived closer. I would like to know her better.” Of course, Larry, you would choose a lovely, warm, and grounded woman to be your wife. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Gabe.
I wasn’t as work on Monday, and was overwhelmed with sadness when I heard the news.
My heartfelt prayers are with your family.
There are no words that can be put into sentences, no praise too high, nor any gesture too large for her spirit. Our hearts are so full of sorrow from her cousins, Lainie and Kathryn. All we can do is to listen in the months to come to Larry, Gabe and the family. We will hear stories of joy and laughter that Laurie so brought to all of us. With great love, Lainie and Kathryn

Memories of Laurie: a ready smile, a wonderful laugh and one of the nicest people I have ever met. Greg (my husband) and I had the opportunity to share some vacation time with Larry and Laurie several years ago. We had met at Taylor reservoir and then jeeped up to some beaver ponds to fish. We all spent a lot of time fighting willows. I was near the vehicles and looking across the little valley. I think we were getting ready to eat some of my Aunt Ellen’s fried chicken and I was trying to spot Larry and Laurie. I saw them walking through the willows and then Laurie disappeared. She had stepped in a deep hole and Laurie was not extremely tall. She laughed the most once they made it back. I loved when she shared the story with me about Greg Dreiling challenging Larry to a game of HORSE in their yard. It was a set up by Laurie. I didn’t see her often but when we visited, it was like we had just talked the day before. My husband Greg did some work for Larry and Laurie at their house and also with her dad. They always had a good visit. We will miss her. Larry and Gabe, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Larry and Gabe, my thoughts and prayers are with you both. Treasure the memories of what a wonderful wife and mother Laurie was, and how special she was to so many people.
Dear Larry and Gabe: I am so deeply sorry for the loss of dear Laurie. What a bright and beautiful spirit she had! She was really a true friend to so many. I wish I had had the privilege of spending more time with her. Please know that you both are in my thoughts and prayers. If Rich and I can do anything for you at anytime, we are here. With love to you both, Aynsley
