Warren-McElwain provides a full range of services including burial, cremation in our own crematory, entombment, or body donation. We offer a complete line of granite and bronze markers and arrange the installation in any cemetery. Complete pre-planning in advance of immediate need is also available.

Funerals

Traditional Funeral Services (Chapel or Church)

  • The body is present for the service.
  • May be religious or secular in content.
  • May request a visitation the day of the service or the night before.

Graveside Services

  • Cemetery of your choice.
  • May replace a chapel or church service.
  • May request a visitation the day of the service or the night before.
  • Called a “graveside inurnment” service for cremation.

Memorial Service

  • May be held at the chapel, church, care facility, or another location of choice.
  • The body is not present.

Contemporary Cremation

  • Similar to a Traditional Funeral with the body present (embalming), and viewing.
  • Cremation occurs after the ceremony.
  • Use ceremonial casket (rental) or cremation casket.
  • On-site crematory at our Eudora location. Your loved one never leaves our care.
  • May request a visitation the day of the service or the night before.
  • Selection of urns available.

Traditional Cremation

  • Memorial Service, limited viewing (no embalming).
  • Cremation takes place as soon as paperwork is complete.
  • On-site crematory at our Eudora location. Your loved one never leaves our care.
  • Choice of minimum container or cremation casket.
  • Selection of urns available.

Direct Cremation

  • No services or ceremony. No embalming.
  • Minimum container or cremation casket.
  • Cremation occurs as soon as paperwork is complete.
  • On-site crematory at our Eudora location. Your loved one never leaves our care.
  • May request a visitation or a memorial gathering with no ceremony.
  • Selection of urns available.

Green (Natural) Burial »

  • No embalming.
  • Limited viewing.
  • Refrigeration is used until the day of burial.
  • May use the Natural Burial Section at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence.
  • Selection of natural burial caskets and containers are available.
