William Clay Hundley, Jr.

Memorial services for William Clay Hundley Jr., 93, Lawrence, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday April 25, 2022, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. William passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Bridge Haven in Lawrence, KS.

William was born on February 8, 1929, in Atchison, KS, the son of William Sr. and Elizabeth (Moore) Hundley.

He married JoAnn J. King on July 29, 1989, in Lawrence, KS, she survives of the home.

Other survivors include his children, Mark (Gara) Hundley, David (Jennie) Hundley, Pamela Hundley-Turner, Mitzi (Thomas) Eyestone, Mark Elliott, Pam (Starl) Hall, nineteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, brothers, Samuel Hundley, Jerry Hundley, Larry Hundley, sisters, Mildred Horlacher, and Shirley Nyhart.

William was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Peggy, brother, James Hundley; and sister, Carol Ekert.

Memorial contributions may be made in William’s name to The First United Methodist Church or the 4-H Foundation in Rock Springs, KS and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
