Tim was born on May 5, 1963 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Dr. Leo E. and Jean Lee (Leavendusky) Lauber.

He graduated from Eudora High School in 1981 and spent many summers putting up hay for Bob Altenbernd. He was employed at his Dad’s company, Orthopedic Casting Laboratories (OCL) from 1982-1986 as a cast production technician. He then worked as a small engine mechanic at the family business, Kaw Valley Industrial, from 1987-2005. He married Shelley Gist on Oct 22nd 1988 and had 3 children but later divorced. He also worked for RPT making carbon fiber bows for industrial use for a number of years to follow.

Tim enjoyed being with his family most, especially his kids and grandchildren. He loved to make any and everyone laugh with his joking personality and was no stranger to a good prank. He had a sweet tooth that could not be cured and a lead foot if you were in the passenger seat. He enjoyed morel hunting, good music and Long John Silvers. He was a good and honest Dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend and will be sorely missed by all.

Survivors include his daughters, Bailey (Brett) Skinner; Kaitlyn (Caleb) Dunn; son, Cameron Lauber; six grandchildren, Rylie, Liam, Nicholas, Joseph Dunn, Carsen and Ayla Skinner; his siblings, Mark Lauber, Chris Lauber, Joy Lauber and his identical twin brother, Rick Lauber; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Lauber.
