Visitation for Timothy J. Peck, 62, Lawrence, will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Timothy passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023, at his home.
Timothy was born on August 23, 1960, in Lawrence, KS, the son of Arthur H. and Lillie Mae Nitsch Peck.
He was an auto mechanic for several years. He was an avid Chiefs and Jayhawk fan. He also enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his mother, Lillie Peck, sister, Kim Burns, two brothers, Douglas Peck and Scott Allen Peck and sister-in-law, Donna Davis, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Peck.
The family suggests memorials in Timothy’s name to the VNA Hospice and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.

Dear Peck family. I am so sorry to hear of Tim’s passing. So sorry that I missed his memorial service but I could’nt find out soon enough or I would have been there to share memories of him. My deepest condolences and again I’m sorry I missed his service. I know he will be sorely missed among his friends and family.

Sorry for your loss Peck family. Tim was always twice as big as me in school and he always had my back. I used to ride on his shoulders in grade school. I enjoyed hanging out at King Arthurs when we were older. Great memories. Peace . . .
