Ted Eubanks

Memorial services for Theodore “Ted” A. Eubanks, 58, Lawrence will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday February 9, 2019 at Centropolis Christian Church 1104 Barnes Ave. Centropolis, KS 66067. Green Burial will follow around Noon at Evergreen Mound Cemetery in Ottawa, Kansas.

He passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.

Ted was born February 2, 1961 in Lawrence, KS the son of Theodore and Brenda J. (Beers) Eubanks, Jr.

He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and his dogs, camping and bonfires, grilling, boating, DUNIN’, traveling, and going on walks.
He was a press operator at Hallmark Cards for 39 years.

He married Linda Ann Brown on March 19, 1998 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his parents, Theodore and Brenda Eubanks, Eudora; three children, Corey (Sam) Centropolis, Tad (Nicki) Scott City, Danielle Kenyon (Tyler) Baton Rouge, LA; sister, Debbie Sparks (David) Eudora; five grandchildren, Alexia, Kristian and Nicolas Eubanks, Lainie and Bruce McDaniel.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Centropolis Christian Church and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2019 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.

    Linda and family, we were both so saddened to hear of the news of Ted’s passing. He will truly be missed by all who had the opportunity to know him. He had such a great sense of humor and was fun to be around. We will never forget the fun times we used to have in our younger years, of camping trips to the sand dunes in Waynoka, Oklahoma.
