Terrill "Terri" Lynn Pulliam passed away Wednesday, March 10, at her home in Kansas City, Missouri, after a short illness. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 27 at 3:00, Union Pacific Depot, 402 North 2nd Street, Lawrence, Kansas 66044.
She was born April 16, 1955, in Lawrence, Kansas, daughter of Bob and Alice Pulliam. Raised in Lawrence, she also lived in Dallas, Texas, New York City, and Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1973. Terri worked for many years in retail for Alice’s Closet, Macy’s, and Wolfe Brothers. She worked many years as a waitress for the Uptown Theater, the Hereford House and had her own cleaning business. She also was a singer with Irie Tribe, an all-girl reggae band. Her favorite past-times were photography, music, and her dogs.
She is survived by her son, Robert "Bob" Blake Pulliam; her sisters, Cammie Braden and Lisa Pulliam, both of Lawrence; her brothers-in-law, Lincoln Scott of Wichita; Pat Ruble of St. Paul, Minnesota; Scott Braden and Kris Kramer, both of Lawrence; her nephews and nieces, Josh Scott of Lawrence, Will Scott of Wichita, Joe Scott , Drew Braden, Jenna McCune, Mitch McCune, Jamie Braden, and Kimi Kramer, all of Lawrence; and her previous companion and father to Bob, Joe Miquelon of Kansas City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her older sister, Stefanie Pulliam.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family to assist with final expenses and to Bob Pulliam’s education fund. Contributions may be made through her sisters, Cammie Braden (1406 W Riverside, Lawrence, Kansas 66044) or Lisa Pulliam (215 Yorkshire, Lawrence, KS 66049) or at the memorial service.
