Sharon Knapp, 76 of Lawrence, Kansas passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019 at her home.
There are no memorial services scheduled .
Sharon was born on December 1, 1942 in Denver, Colorado. She was the third surviving child born to Cleo Vincent and Wilda (McElfresh) Thompson. She excelled at hand crafts, jewelry making and stained glass projects. She was a lover of all animals and a devoted pet owner.
Survivors include her son, Harold “Chip” Clayton (Andrea) Knapp, Jr; 2 grandchildren; Callan and Regan Knapp; brother, Everett Thompson of Trenton, Missouri, sister, Barbara (Jack) Baker of Parker, Colorado.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold Clayton Sr. and sister, Carol Hamilton.
The family suggests memorials in her name to the Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
