Funeral services for Shannon Carole Cloud, 80, Overbrook, KS, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Overbrook Bible Church in Overbrook, KS with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Twin Mound Cemetery in Clinton, KS. Shannon passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Brookside Assisted Living in Overbrook.
Shannon was born on April 22, 1943, in Marlow, OK, the daughter of Charles Oliver and Jewell (Mills) Gamble.
She married Douglas Cloud on July 14, 1962, in Rush Springs, OK. He survives at home.
Other survivors include her daughters, Sharla (Randall Schaffer) Cloud, Vicki Cloud, sister, Gayla Sherrill Gamble.
Shannon was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Jina Linn cloud, son, Scott Cloud, brother, Charles Alfred Gamble.
The family suggests memorials in Shannon’s name to Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
