Memorial services for Roger M. Brunson Jr., 52, Eudora, KS, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Eudora Baptist Church in Eudora, KS with a luncheon immediately following. Roger passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Advent Health in Merriam, KS.
Roger was born on March 20, 1971, in LaJunta, CO, the son of Roger Sr. and Barbara (Hazelwood) Brunson.
He was a Certified Welding Inspector.
He married Jessica Kropp on June 21, 2008, in Colby, KS. She survives at home.
Other survivors include his children, Brandon Brunson, Kade Juenemann, Alyssa Brunson, Jacob Brunson, siblings, Tim (Lori) Brunson, Vickie (Jim) Lohmeyer, and Athena (Ron) Newman.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Richard Hazelwood.
The family suggests memorials in Roger’s name to Roger’s children’s educational fund, please make checks payable to Jessica Brunson and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.

I have known Roger all his life and it has been a pleasure knowing him. I’m sorry to hear of his passing but I know he’s no longer suffering. He is now with Jesus and some of his family.
