Richard and his (now deceased) parents have been our neighbor for 46 years. He loved being outdoors, checking on his mail, and people watching!! We will certainly miss Richard on our block.

My cousin Richard was a sweet and gentle guy who loved to feed the birds and enjoyed flowers. He never complained. His answer was always “Fine” to any question of how he was doing. He loved decorating for the holidays, especially Christmas, and always helped us on Memorial Day. He loved music, especially Elvis and country, and was always young at heart. He was helpful when he visited, bringing in the mail and turning the perpetual calendars up to date. We will miss him on family occasions. I’m sure his friends at Cottonwood will miss him, too.
