Melanie and Martin. You don’t know me. I called on Brenda and your Mother for all 25 years. I don’t think I ever met a quicker whit than Rhetta. I called on Spectrum way more than I should have, because Rhetta had me on the floor just about every time I was in there. When I got new products, I always polished my pitch on Rhetta and Brenda. They had a way of cutting my presentations to pieces, and I loved it to death.

I watched Rhetta suffer thru a number of illnesses and pain. Many days she shouldn’t have been there. Thru it all, her family was everything to her. She almost always spent time talking about her children. In the later years the conversations included her Grandchildren.

I feel privileged that I had met and worked with Rhetta for 25 years.

Mel and Martin, I am so sorry for your loss.
I worked part time at Spectrum. Rhetta was my friend. We shared a love of New York Dogs and onion rings and lamented the fact that Sonic stopped offering them!!
Rhetta was my friend! (But she never would give me her recipe for her awesome baked beans!)
