I worked with Ray at the Kmart Distribution Center for many years. He always had a smile and shared kind words. Outside of work we would see each other and he would take the time to visit . I have not seen him for several years but often thought of him and the original crew of Kmart. He came as I recall from the Kmart Warehouse in Fort Wayne, IN and was one of several from that warehouse that were instrumental in putting the Lawrence center onboard. I remember when the son Jason was very small and they lived on Mass st and Ray worked on that big house. He was not shy of tackling a job and was a well liked supervisor.

Dear Eileen, my heart goes out to you. It was good to meet you and Ray at the 2012 Jensen family reunion. I’m sure that you have many great memories to cherish, and I pray that they bring you comfort.

Please accept my sincerest sympathies. Ken always spoke fondly of Ray as they shared many memories of growing up in Indiana. Ray always conducted himself as a gentleman.

I deeply regret how distant my father and I grew. There wasn’t even any reason for it. To the rest of our family, most of whom I’ve had little or no contact with, I send my love and best wishes. I may be far away in so many ways, but in this moment and with this loss we are together.

Eileen, my sincerest condolences to you and your family on the passing of Ray. I enjoyed working with you both in past business and our friendly conversations catching up when crossing paths at the grocery store. Ray was always cheerful and energetic and so proud of his grandchildren. Sending prayers for peace and comfort.
