Private family graveside services for Raymond Dudley Schott, 95, Lawrence will be announced at a later date. He passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Raymond was born September 14, 1920 in Globe, KS the son of Victor Hugo and Ethel Elizabeth (Whitman) Schott.

He served his country in the United States Army as a Tech Sergeant during WWII. He was a member of the VFW.

He was a machinist at FMC Chemical Plant.

He married Anna Lauretta Pierce February 13, 1948 in Topeka, KS. She preceded him in death July 19, 2001.

Survivors include daughter, Cynthia Ellen Hutchison, (Glenn) Belton, MO. He was preceded in death by daughter, Kathy Schott Gates in October 2014.

Memorials may be made in his name to the Douglas County Visiting Nurses or Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of the Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
