No formal service will be held for Paula May Adkins, 95, Lawrence. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Throckmorton, TX Cemetery. She passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Medicalodges Eudora.
Paula was born January 13, 1922 in Throckmorton, TX the daughter of Tobe and Ella (Houge) Foster.
She was a member of the Unity Church in Lawrence.
Paula enjoyed sewing and reading.
She was a school teacher and worked at Watkins at The University of Kansas.
She first married Gale Adkins from 1944 to 1968. She then married Thomas Bogardus in 1970. He survives of the home. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ben Foster; and three sisters, Agnes Peaterson, Marguerite Nash and Eloise Maynard
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Penn House and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
