Graveside services for Patricia L. Mayhugh, 92, Watauga, TX, formerly of Lawrence, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Oak Hill Cemetery. Patricia passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Medical City in North Richland Hills, TX.
She was born on October 5, 1929 in Newton, Kansas the daughter of Chauncey D. and Opal M. (Benjamin) Ackley.
She worked in the shipping department at King Radio for 17 years before she retired. She enjoyed reading, gardening, going to dances and family get-togethers.
She married Frank Mayhugh March of 1951. He preceded her in death April of 1990.
Survivors include her daughter, Dana L. (Roger) Robertson, Watauga, TX; two sons, Roger D. (Deanna) Mayhugh, Lawrence, Kurt J. Mayhugh, Pea Ridge, AR. She also had 12 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon (Don) Coup; two sons, Sam (Charla) Tunget, Charles (Sarah) Tunget; and two grandsons, Brock (Kelly) Robertson and Jim Tunget.
The family will greet friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.
