Denise and Meredith so sorry to hear of you moms passing. Norma and Norman were one of the first couples Larry and I met when we moved to town in 1963. Went dancing at the Elks, New Years Eve party’s at The Bird, and any Jaycee party. So many good times.

Enjoyed Norma in the Pilot Club. She worked the kitchen during the Antique Shows.

    Meredith and Denise –
I’m sorry for the loss of your mother. I was just remembering ALL of the hours we all got to spend together doing 4-H things for several years. Makes me laugh! And then seeing she and Norm out eating with their “group” every week. I know my mom sure enjoyed those times too! My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

Dear Meredith and Denise, I was so saddened to learn of your mom‘s recent passing… We had been planning to get together for lunch for months but Covid hindered those plans.

Both of your parents were amazing! I had huge respect for both of them and enjoyed the early years when you were little and we were all friends in the Jaycees and attending KU football games!

Thankful that after a 25 year absence from Lawrence I was able to meet with your mom four years ago when I finally returned and we had a really nice visit. I loved her smile and her laugh.

May God sustain you in the days ahead without her. Love you!

Denise and Meredith, I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother was one of the sweetest, most gracious and most fun friends to be with. I first met her when we were in fifth grade and attended the same church. We enjoyed a friendship through high school, our weddings, reunions and recent years. She will be missed by many, but I will remember the good times and chuckle about the ornery things we did together. May you both remember the good times, the fun times and know that she is at peace and with your Dad.

Sorry for the family’s loss of a beautiful person, inside and out. May you always find comfort in knowing that your mother’s love is never-ending; for even in her passing her love remains in the wonderful memories of her that continue to put a smile on the faces of all who were a part of her life. Take comfort in this time of loss knowing that God remembers her too. John 5:28,29; Psalms 37:29
