Memorial services for Myra M. Traetow (formerly Trowbridge), 69, Lawrence will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2008 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Inurnment will follow in
Sutton Cemetery, rural Baldwin, KS.
Ms. Traetow died at her home on April 15, 2009.
Myra was born October 31, 1939 in Stuttgart, Arkansas, the daughter of Herman and
Edythe Dyer Traetow Gray.
She worked as a greeter and clerk at Walmart for over 25 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Christina Diedel, Lawrence; a son, David Allen Trowbridge, Jr., Baldwin; and a brother James Overton Gray, Michigan; and five grandchildren.
Memorials in her name may be made to the Douglas County Special Olympics and sent
in care of the mortuary.
The family will greet friends from 9 a.m. until service time on Monday.
