I worked with Mike at DST. He was such a positive influence on all. He always had a smile and was willing to help anyone at anytime. Everyone liked and respected him. He truly was one of a kind and will be missed by many. My deepest sympathy to his family.
Mike was a great friend, a great colleague, and even a great boss. But so much more important, he was a great human being. So calm and grounded, he could (almost) always see through all frustrations. My heart goes out to his family – I KNOW he loved you all SO MUCH. Thank you for sharing him with the rest of the world.
Mike was indeed a special man. He started as my boss and quickly became a dear friend. Mike is a man you can count on to do the right thing, tell you the truth and have your back. Mike you are deeply missed.
Elaine and family, So sorry for your loss.
My sincere sympathy 🙏🙏 your family is in my thoughts and prayers
Sincerest condolences to the Lovell family. I will remember Mike always with a smile and quick with a joke. I hope your drives are going far, your irons are pure, and every putt is going in my friend. Until we meet again…
Heaven has gained another angel. I was privileged to work with Mike for several years in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He was a kind, caring individual, always willing to help do his part and more. He was a great example to our Scouts and a real asset to our adult leadership teams. Condolences to Deann and all the family. I pray for your comfort and peace in this difficult time.
Mike was a great friend in business and in Life. So many fun events throughout the years, it’s disappointing that we won’t have more events creating memories.
Larry, Elaine, and Family – You son/brother was an inspirational manager and mentor to many young minds – even those of us who were not that much younger than he was. He will always be one of my most favorite and admired people to work for and with. My heartfelt condolences for your loss.
Deann, Garrett, and Hannah – Mike (your dad) was truly one-of-a-kind, and I know your hearts are feeling his loss deeply. His humor, sense of adventure, and always making the best of any challenge is something I will always admire. The picture selected is truly a reflection of how he tackled everything – leaning in and a smile on his face. A smile that started from the inside. I feel very fortunate to have known and worked for him. Privileged to have listened to family stories – including how he knew Deann was “the one” (on their 1st date), and how Chuck E. Cheese was moving to LA (too long of a story to type – but it was fantastic, and made even better when it backfired on him), and when Garrett became a big brother (to Hannah). Mike (your dad) was a bright presence and such a positive influence. I hope you are able to find comfort in the stories shared by family, friends and co-workers, and peace in your own special memories. My heartfelt condolences to each of you for your loss.
Kaya – I know you are missing Dad. Please take care of Mom – she is going to need you.
So Sorry to hear of Mike’s Passing, I remember him at Lawrence High, he was very kind. Condolences to his Family and Friends.
Larry and family, what a loss for you. He was a wonderful young man. I remember working with him at KU. He was kind, thoughtful and everything you would want your son to be. My deepest condolences.
