How can I possibly say goodbye to an Angel friend of mine that has changed me forever.
I refuse to say goodbye.
I can only say “I’ll be seeing you soon”, knowing that this life is only but a small moment in the Lord’s time.
We had so much fun being together as friends. Raising our children, talking for hours about our lives, working together in our church assignments, depending on each other for strength in our struggles.
What an amazing, gentle, meek, strong, humble beautiful woman you are.
You will be remembered as being a righteous woman in my eyes. You have been a great example of what discipleship is. I love you and will miss your singing birthday wishes every year.
My eyes are full of emotion , my heart is full of gratitude, and thank you for coming to Kansas!
Until we meet again……
Melinda was a treasured friend, like a sister to me. Her middle name should have been service. It was what gave her so much joy. She helped me take care of my mother and father in their last years.. She was always so gentle and tender.
She had tremendous faith. She suffered many adversities, and she relied on her faith to traverse them. She was an absolute angel. I will miss her tremendously!. She was such a devoted grandmother, and I know that her grandchildren will miss her, too.
I am so grateful to have had her in my life for many years. I am also grateful that she is now in heaven, no longer in pain, with her beloved parents and sister Michelle and all of her animals that she loved so dearly. I am sure that the minute she passed through the veil, she was loving and serving like she did here on earth. I am also looking forward to the time I can embrace her again. Melinda is being remembered and celebrated by many for her loving kindness and many acts of selfless service. Melinda, enjoy your marvelous exultation. I will love you always.❤️
To my faithful friend, counselor in so many areas, and patient person, deepest love to you. Wish I could be here Saturday, but will be out of state. It will be an uplifting funeral I am sure. Prayers for all your family, and for all your friends who have been blessed by you. I have been privileged to see you teach children and learn from your tender interactions with them. You have touched their souls, and mine. Gott sei mit euch bis Auf Wiedersehen.
Love, Kay
Dear Price Family, Loss of a wonderfuly family member is not easy. Grief is a natural response. We join with you in our prayers for each of you. Melinda’s “graduation” to a better place will naturally leave a big hole in you hearts and there is no replacement. Please focus on the many fond memories you have of your wife, mother, and sister. We appreciate the many Christ-like qualities Malinda lived. We are dealing with Covid, but our thoughts will be with you as your celebrate her life and lay her mortal body to rest. May the comfort of the Holy Ghost sustain you. With love and appreciation, Dennis and Diane
Melinda was a strong, beautiful and loving woman. She was kind and faithful providing an excellent example for family and friends. I remember many kindnesses provided while serving as Relief Society president while I lived in Lawrence, Kansas.
I pray that her daughters and grandchildren will know and remember Melinda
I never met Melinda, but I met Kevin her husband in early Aug 2020. I was participating with Wayne Mays’s group on an expedition. We stayed at a hotel in Keokuk. I made my first visit to the Zarahemla Temple site where Kevin had discovered spotted bee balm in July 2020. I’ve developed a friendship with Kevin. Words can’t describe your pain, but we all must die. Melinda finished her mission on this earth and you’ll reunite soon enough. May you and your family experience God’s choicest blessings in the day’s ahead. I’ll be watching on Zoom.
Dear Price Family,
I am deeply saddened by the loss of Melinda. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May you find peace and comfort in the memories you shared with her. Please know that I value our friendship and am here for you in any way you may need.
Wishing you strength in remembrance.
Dear Price family,
We are very saddened by Melinda’s passing. We will fondly remember her for her kindness and generosity. She was a very giving person.
Over the years she helped watch our children when we couldn’t, and her daughters helped, too. We will remember her love for her family and her numerous pets. She even offered vet referrals and suggestions, too. Around Christmas time 2001 0r 2002, Melinda and the girls gave our daughter a small stuffed snowman as a secret Santa gift. Our daughter snuggled with it for many years, and we still have it. We will never forget Melinda and her kindness.
