My thoughts and prayers to Mary’s family. I so enjoyed taking your mother to Joda & Friends for her hair appointments, Dillon’s for grocery shopping and an occasional trip to Weavers. It saddens me this on-going virus prevented my visits to see your mother in recent months. I truly enjoyed each and every time I had the honor of our visits, Mary was an amazing and lovely Lady. Rest my friend til we meet again.

Only yesterday, two and a half years after her passing, did I discover this obituary. I remember Mary fondly as the mother of my childhood playmates, Mike and Nancy Carnahan, and their older siblings Patricia and Robert. She was a remarkable person, rearing four children by herself for most of their years. If anyone deserved to become a centenarian, it was she. May she rest in peace after a life well lived.
