Karen, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. So sorry to hear of Martha passing. She will be dearly missed. All the best to you and your family, Shih-hua
Martha was a truly delightful, special person. I looked forward to my time with her each week, listening to her childhood stories or amazing poetry recitations, or the enjoyment of reading the Bible or ” Jesus Calling ” together. I will miss her dearly and feel honored to have shared a part of her life. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
I usually arrived early at the LBDA board meetings and had some time to talk with your mother/grandmother. She seemed like a lovely person. I know all her family and friends will miss her.
Karen, You are the only one who would remember me from your siblings, I’m sure. I remember your folks but especially your mother from my childhood when we moved back to Topeka from Montana. I thought she was one of the nicest women I knew!! She always was willing to talk to me even though I was a child. And I thought you were one of the prettiest little girls too. My mother and dad thought a lot of your folks too. Their quiet ways touched a lot of lives. May the Holy Spirit comfort you all.
Karen,
Praying for you & your siblings in the days ahead as you adjust to your mother’s home-going. I loved the picture in the obituary. That’s the way I remember her. She was always so kind and gracious. May God give you His peace & presence.

Karen and family, I’m so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. Tho I only met her once, I was happy to discover we are related when I moved to KS in the ’60s. I would love to have heard the stories of her life mentioned above. May God draw you all close to Himself as you grieve.
Kathy and Family, Condolences in the passing of your mom. I know you will miss her. Praise God for his promise of eternal life.
P.S. I can definitely see the family resemblance.
