My greatest mentor and role model. She interviewed me for entrance to Goucher college and I was accepted into the class of 1966. She was respected and admired, and encouraged me throughout my college years. Her advice stayed with me to this day. Her honesty , wit and realism was always refreshing and greatly appreciated. A great woman. My condolences to her family.

Dean Nichols was one of the wisest women I have ever met. She was a strong, perceptive, elegant woman who spoke with a voice of reason. She was incredibly intelligent and down to earth with a witty sense of humor and a great smile. She was an admirable woman who will be remembered kindly by many. My condolences to the family.
