Graveside Services for Marie Louise Wilson, 83, Eudora will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Eudora Cemetery in Eudora, KS.
The family will greet friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday prior to the service at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary- Eudora Chapel.
She passed away on May 28, 2017 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born January 20, 1934 in Fall Leaf, Kansas the daughter of Joseph E. and Hazel Gladys Bryant.
She worked at St. Mary’s in Kansas City, KS as a switch board operator and then later worked at the Douglas County Register of Deeds office. She was a homemaker after she was married.
Marie married William R. Wilson on March 6, 1954 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 8, 2001.
Survivors include her daughter, Amelia Wilson; her two sons, Dennis Wilson and his wife, Kathy Wilson and Jay Wilson all of Eudora, KS; three grandchildren, Jeremy Wilson, Daniel and Cassie Wilson, Kelsey and Jared Randel; four great-grandchildren, Trevor Haima, Madison Randel, Abigail Wilson and Makayla Wilson; two brother, Eugene Bryant of Long Island, New York, Raymond Bryant, Oskaloosa, KS; one sister, Evelyn Fairbanks, Burns, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Bill Bryant, Joseph Bryant, George, Bryant, Robert Bryant, Richard Bryant, Mary Bryant, Edna Haller, K.B. Smith, and Maxine Webster.
The family suggests memorials in her name to the Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of the mortuary.

So sorry to hear about Marie. Mom and I are sending our love and prayers to your family. We didn’t know about Marie until late it was too late. Sorry we didn’t come to the service.
Sorry to hear about this-my late father, George Bryant, is Aunt Marie’s brother. Many years since I saw Aunt Marie but I remember her fondly.
