Margaret M. Kendrick

Graveside services for Margaret M. Kendrick, 77, Lawrence will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Memorial Park in Lawrence. Margaret passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born May 8, 1940 in Mountain View, AR, the daughter of Martin Madison and Lillie Gertrude (Haywood) Tuttle.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, crossword puzzles, family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren.

She moved to Lawrence in 1960 where she resided for 25 years. She returned home to Mountain View, AR to her family farm for the next 21 years. She returned to Lawrence in 2006 to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

She married Ralph Kendrick, Jr. July 27, 1957, Mountain View, AR. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include her daughter, Becky Spence (Bryan) of Lawrence, KS; Son, David Kendrick (Lynnie) of Lawrence, KS; Two sisters, Earlene Donoho of Branson, MO and Ann Brown (Jim) of Smithville, MO; Four grandchildren, Brianna Spence, Gavin Spence, Tyler Kendrick and Sam Kendrick. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Leon Tuttle.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Douglas County Visiting Nurses and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
