I cared for Leta last year and a little this year and she was such a wonderful woman! She will be greatly missed but she is home with Wilbur now. She helped me through the time when my grandmother passed away and I comforted her when she lost Wilbur. Leta was almost like another grandma to me and I will miss her tremendously. Rest in peace Leta.

Leta was a gentle giant! A tremendously talented and firm colleague yet as a lamb of gentleness as she spoke of her life in Jesus. I enjoyed our visits at Pioneer Ridge. Her spirit was strong even as she failed in her body. May she rest in the peace she knew in her heart.

Wilbur and Leta White were gracious, wonderful friends to me as a young post-college person in search of my career path in Modesto, CA. They hosted my family on the eve of my marriage. They are two of a few with whom we have stayed in touch through the years since. My heart goes out go Beth and David and the extended family. We felt the loss when Leta’s Christmas letter was missing from our stack for the first time…

Both have heard, “We’ll done, thou good and faithful servants.”

I will miss them. Chris Seibert
