Praying for peace and comfort in this difficult time. It was a pleasure taking care of Larry-and Mar and Amber! It brings me comfort to know Larry is at rest! I know hearts are broken and souls feel heavy-but peace is coming. Remember the memories-tell stories often and remember-Larry is all around you now! You may not be able to see him-or-hear him-but if you allow it-you are sure to feel him all around you. Thank you for allowing me to be part of such a private time in your lives. Peace!

Very seldom in your lifetime will you have friends like Larry and Marilyn. They are the best friends we have ever had. Sharing our vacations, our gardens, the lake, our love for our children, sewing, fishing, and life. Good times and sad times, always supporting and loving each other. Before Larry left he promised me he and Marilyn would be planning the best cruise ever as they wait for Jack and I to arrive. Jesus was there with Marilyn and all his loved ones to greet him. Oh, glorious day!!! No more pain, sickness, or loneliness. Their smiles, their laughter, their faithfulness and friendship will live on in our hearts until we see them again. Gone from here, but never forgotten!!! Our love, Jack and Janice

Larry was a grade school friend, through high school, into the Marine Corp, & friends afterwards with my husband Bob Beers. Just before Larry & Marilyn left for Grand Lake Larry & Bob drifted apart. My husband always had lots of stories & most included Larry in some way! They always went fishing & some rabbit or. squirrel hunting. There were a group of them who always hung out together. When 1 crazy person decided to join the Marine Corp they all did! Elton Meireis. Virgil Le Roy Laughlin, my husband Bob & of course Larry! There might have been another one, but I’m not sure. They thought they could all go to boot camp together & sign up the base they all wanted to go. We’ll, you know the military! They were all split up! Elton got hurt & didn’t ship out with any of them. My brother went to Okinawa, Bob went to Atsugi, Japan. Larry managed to get a pass for Bob to board the Ariskani (I know I misspelled the ship!) Bob was so excited about seeing a very good friend & also being aboard ship! We’ll, 1 more thing. When I was very pregnant & Larry was driving the JO CO Sheriff’s car, he saw me & drove around the block. He carried all my baskets into the laundromat for me! I was greatly appreciative of him. RIP Larry. You’ve been involved with so very many people during your time! Well, you’re all in Heaven now reminiscing, including wives & kids.
