To the family of Lanny Kimbrough

I just wanted to express my sympathy on the passing of Lanny. Words say very little at a time like this, but knowing people care, maybe helps. I hope so. I’m sure you all have some wonderful memories of him, as do his friends.

I am going to miss his friendly hello in the halls here at Brandon Woods. Lanny was so kind to share his newspaper with me everyday, even when he was in rehab he made sure I got the paper. He always had a smile. May he rest in peace.

My heart is sad that I will not see Lanny here at Brandon Woods. I would come up to the bar for lunch and see Lanny with his bowl of soup, glass of wine and dessert. He was always interested in hearing about my 3 boys. Always had a smile and a cheery hello. He liked that my name was Angela just like his daughter. I will miss him. May God bless his family while they deal with the loss of a truly wonderful man.

I was shocked and saddened to learn about the passing of my long time friend Lanny Kimbrough. WE had known each other since my days at the Phi Delt House at Washburn University. Lanny was actively involved encouraging the young men at the Phi House to make good decisions. I knew Lanny as a man who cared deeply about his family, friends , customers and community. He was a good and decent man who was a blessing in my life as my banker and friend.
I extend my deepest sympathy to Eric and Angela and Barbara and the rest of his family. Jim Slattery
